Just a brief update today. Not a whole lot has changed for me, aside from the website, since Tuesday. Which is to say that the way things are changing hasn't substantially changed. Life continues to gradually become more weird, frustrating, and painful. It's not all bad, though. Had a lovely breakfast yesterday which will eventually make a good addition to the "Recipes" page, when I get around to making that. I spent a sleepless night focussed on the "Tirades" pages, getting everything to work as close to how I want as I could manage. I also did some touch-ups to the writing in a few places that I felt were repetitive or needed clarification, and fixed some typos. The links now should all open in new tabs, most have titles, and their colour scheme matches the section's orange. Once I got the tooltip in "I Am [Not American]" to work, I reworked the footnotes in "Do the Stardew" to match, and decided to hide the points breakdown of Grandpa's evaluation in the same way as the spoilers in "What's a Panzer For?" Took some figuring to get everything to work consistently, but it does, and also better than I expected it would on mobile. Mobile view is still mostly pretty messy, but passable-ish, for now. It felt good to knuckle down on a specific project and actually see it through. I think my next such task will be the "Links" page, and maybe another item from the "Tidbits" section. I'm still working out exactly how I want the presentations to work across pages there, so we'll see how much I actually get done. But, at least that one page. Until then.
